Liverpool One is the newest addition to Liverpool’s City Centre, offering; shopping, dining, leisure activities and residential areas. L1 was developed from unutilised land in 2008 as part of Liverpool’s year as European Capital of Culture.
Shopping is the main attraction within L1 with over 120 shops including; John Lewis, The Body Shop and HMV. There is also a wide range of restaurants available to break up your shopping trip or if you fancy a nice meal for a special occasion.
Leisure activities include films at the ODEON and the Rumble Jumble Adventure Golf. Keeping ‘green’, L1 also has its own Chavasse park that comes to life during the warmer months and has a vibrant atmosphere on sunny days.
A lot of the shops, restaurants and leisure also offer student discounts so you do not necessarily have to spend a fortune to treat yourself. Also, if you are not eligible for student discount, offers can be found on the L1 website available to all. Additionally, there are competitions on their website which give you the chance to win goodies such as free food.
