There are thousands of societies to available for you to join when you start University and there is a PsycSoc (Psychology society) available for all Psychology students.
Firstly, you will get to know other students on your course fast as they have early socials. Also, they host some really good socials out in town. Do not worry if you’re not keen on drinking as they offer other socials, such as a trip to Amsterdam.
The PsycSoc is also helpful with learning as they host a number of book sales throughout the year where you can get the recommended reading materials for a really cheap price! Also, they are there to offer support whilst you journey through your degree so drop them an email if you want/need to.
