Don’t Believe Everything You Hear

When people say “you don’t even need to do any work for 1st year”, they’re wrong. Its all well and good when you get told you only have multiple choice exams until you go into that exam and all the answers look exactly the same… trust me, its worth revising.

Also, I would highly recommend reading over lecture material BEFORE the lecture – there’s nothing worse than sitting in a 2 hour cognitive lecture, not understanding a word, then having to read over that lecture again at home because you didn’t learn anything.

As a final comment, you’ll have a lot of people telling you psychology is a “fake science” and that its not a “real subject” but that’s something you just have to endure I’m afraid.
